Service Level Agreement Verification

Service Level Agreements are the best mechanism to ensure that the Automated Border Management System purchased is performing as expected. Often vendors do not provide those reports unless requested and even then may not be able to produce an accurate report detailing the current SLA thresholds and whether they are meeting their obligations. Typically the IT Department manages the organization’s SLA portfolio, though, for an automated Border Management System, the IT department is often ill-equipped to accurately gauge and understand the expected system nuances and the operational lifecycle required from a security and integrity perspective.

Understanding existing SLAs and ensuring that the guarantees allotted by a vendor are in an organization’s best interest and ensure that the system provides the best value for the dollars spent. Validating and measuring those thresholds on an ongoing basis is critical in enforcing your SLA.

DBM Consulting has years of experience dealing with SLA’s that relate to BMS and conducting reviews and audits of systems. Allow us to review existing SLAs and ensure that vendors are providing the services as agreed too. If no SLAs are in place, allow us to assist in creating an SLA that is fair and provides the necessary mechanisms to ensure that service is delivered upon as promised. Contact us for more details.
